My work in computer map course
About the course:
The course emphasizes the use of computers in map creation, map design, data organization, thematic mapping, and communication and visualization enhancement. The use of GPS for mapping, GPS tracking maps, 3-Dimension, and innovative ways of communicating maps such as on-line maps, mobile maps, animated maps, virtual reality, and multi-media are all discussed. The course includes a lab component that allows students to practice using ArcGIS and 3D Analyst.
UAE Map:
This map represents how to organize spatial data in ArcGIS and explores some basic GIS procedures.
The map shows: a map of the UAE and I changed its colors to show all the Emirates of the country.
Study Area:
In this map, I learned how to place two or more maps on the same layout.
This map shows: a map of the United Arab Emirates and another map showing the city of Al Ain.
GPS receiver:
|
A satellite navigation device, sometimes known as a GPS receiver or simply a GPS, is a device that can receive data from GNSS satellites and compute the device's geographical position. I used the device to determine a location in the Dibba area, including houses, a mosque, and trees. |
Through this result, new, continuous and vanishing crime sites were identified, where the police identified new crime points along with the recent but older crime points for the context and then the observer could discover the emergence of new groups.
